You're Invited: Women, Wisdom & Wine – Winter Solstice Event with BPW Co

Business & Professional Women Coffs Harbour began in 1972, when women in Coffs Harbour decided that issues of concern, such as paid maternity leave, equal pay, and gender equity, needed to be addressed and that lobbying starts here, in regional and rural Australia.

Many local notable events have had BPW involvement, the university, ETC, playgrounds, election meet-the-candidate meetings, financial and health seminars for women as well as social networking opportunities for members and non members. Every year BPW awards a Maude Spielvogel Scholarship to a mature aged woman who has overcome disadvantage to study at tertiary level in Coffs Harbour. It is now augmented by the Wendy Martin Education Encouragement Award for the runner up.

BPW Coffs Harbour offers the opportunity to meet other women who have an interest in gender equality, in economic, political, educational and social terms and drive reform.
