💜 About the Event:

This walk is part of a national movement to raise awareness for Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), a chronic and often invisible skin condition affecting approx. 1-4% of Australians. Walking together symbolises solidarity, visibility, and support for those living with HS. George Clayton Park, with its open spaces and community atmosphere, is a fitting setting to come together and make our voices heard.

Landmarks across the country will turn purple for HS Awareness Week between June 2-8. What better way to celebrate than walking around, sharing stories, learning about HS and seeing these landmarks turn purple. Can’t make the walk but see the landmarks turn purple? Check our socials for times and locations of landmarks lighting purple and snap a pic if safe to do so, and tag us to show your support. 💜

Everyone is welcome, bring your family and friends! This is a family-friendly event designed to promote awareness, connection, and community spirit. There will be giveaways and FREE facepainting for kids with Fairy Raine!
