About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

What is the potential role of design competitions in shaping Melbourne? Join the City of Melbourne for a panel discussion with industry leaders and experts to explore how design competitions can uplift our city, unlock challenges, generate new and original ideas, and support the participation of emerging and local designers. We will examine ways the City of Melbourne can collaborate with private industry to partner on and successfully deliver design competitions.

This event will mark the official launch of Council’s Design Competition Guidelines which aim to strengthen industry collaboration toward a common goal of design excellence, and to improve the quality of public and private development in the municipality.

Following the panel discussion, we invite you to continue the conversation as we network with industry colleagues and friends.

Light refreshments (drinks) will be available.
