The Dragon Within. An Evening of Poetry, Art and Music

This evening we shall gather by the fire and roam the cobbled floor of the long Gallery, sipping wine (or your preferred beverage), snacking from the Artisan Cheese Platter .

Simone from Melbournes premier String Quartet, Animata will be there to delight you with beautiful Violin playing whilst you peruse the original artwork of local and respected artist Glynis Brown. Her stunning Watercolour paintings are testament to the beauty in the world, and will be available for purchase on the night.

This event will also include the official book launch of Kiley Baker's new Poetry collection "The Dragon Within". This is Kiley's fourth publication, and she was recently longlisted (longlist only just released) in the Kathryn Purnell Poetry Prize . Kiley will read some poetry from the latest collection as well as some new and yet to be published works.

There will also be readings from other published and local writers inclulding Krystle Herdy.

After the offical launch, we can mingle and nibble some more whilst we are entertained by the original music of well-known guitarist, singer and Song-writer Ricki Wood.
