About this event
The Buddha said, our suffering is nothing other than the failure to accept reality as it is. The more we reject it, the more suffering we experience.
But how can we accept and let go the hurt and harm that happened to us?
First, we need to understand the nature of our mind, and how our mind functions. At this point, we’re not aware that we have a reservoir of peace inside all of us - underneath our anxiety, stress, depression. The reservoir of peace is always there within us and it’s not something we need to create but we need to uncover it. This can only be achieved through a direct experience in the mediation. And only from that peace, we will be able accept and let go.
In this precious 3-hour session, we’re going to have three main meditation practices. We’ll be exploring the nature of our mind, how the mind functions and the power of our mind, offering compassion to ourselves for the hurt we experience, and then we will try to accept the reality as the way it is in the third Meditation.
We’ll also have a Mindful Movement Practice because we need to be grounded in the present moment, in the here and now, before we’ll be able to accept anything the way it is.
After the Meditation Practices, you'll be immersing yourself into an hour of Sound Journey with Deep sounds of Gongs, Mesmerizing sounds of Sacred Tibetan Singing bowls, Magical Monolina, crystal singing bowls, Chimes and many more. You will definitely walk away feeling nurtured and deeply relaxed, leading you into deeper rest, as resting is a precondition for healing.
Why do I need to accept things that I don't want to accept, such as a difficult situation, difficult colleague or partner and so forth?
Because... Only when we are able to accept things or people as the way they are; we will be able to experience peace and joy from within.
What to bring : your own yoga mat, blanket, eye pillow, pillow to ensure you are comfortable and warm enough during the session; Also your water bottle.
