Tennis Queensland Business Coach Summit

The Tennis Queensland Business Coach Summit is a must-attend event for all tennis business operators, Head Coaches and those aspiring to be!

Now in its third year, this years event promises to be even better than the massive success of our 2024 showpiece (view report here). Filled with world-class presentations, exciting venue visits, activities, networking opportunities, and practical tips to boost your business skills and knowledge. It's now a staple event for our operators across Queensland.

This in-person event runs over four days, kicking off with the exciting new addition of a Women's Business Masterclass on 7 July. The Business Coach Summit will be held from 8-10 July, with this year's theme being events, competitions and community engagement. A hugely important topic for the success of every tennis business, and the health of the sport across the state.

Womens Business Masterclass

  • 7 July - Four amazing presenters at the Queensland Tennis Centre, followed by Beach Tennis (complimentary accommodation included for female coaches only).

Business Coach Summit

  • 8 July - Six world-class presentations at the Queensland Tennis Centre
  • 9 July - Three venues visits across Brisbane, coupled with Q&A's and fun activities
  • 10 July - Half-day at the Queensland Tennis Centre with presentations discussing future opportunities and actions to improve your business.

What is the criteria to attend the Women's Business Masterclass on the 7 July?

(1) Current Tennis Australia Coach Member residing in QLD (2) Minimum Level 1 Tennis Australia coaching qualification (Junior Development) (3)Women coaches operating or aspiring to operate a tennis business: This includes women who are currently managing or looking to start their own tennis business

If I am a male can I attend the Womens Business Masterclass?

If you are eligible and have registered for the Summit on the 8-10th, and would also like to attend the Womens Business Masterclass too, then we would love for you to attend. You can register for the day as an 'Add-on' to your event ticket at the Checkout

Who can attend the Summit on the 8th July?

If you are a tennis coach based at a venue in Queensland, you can attend the 8th July at the Queensland Tennis Centre.

Who can attend the Summit on the 9th and 10th July?

If you are a Head Coach at a Tennis Queensland Affiliated Venue, you can attend all of the Business Coach Summit days on the 8-10 July, which come with complimentary lunches. Only one person per venue. If you reside over 100km from the QTC, will you be eligible for accommodation too.

Are there any fees for attending the event?

Yes, we have needed to add small fees for the Summit this year for various ticket options. This is needed to ensure the Summit experience remains at the highest level.

Is there complimentary accommodation during the Summit (8-10 July)?

If you are a Head Coach at a TQ Affiliated Venue, who resides over 100km from the Queensland Tennis Centre, you can register for two-nights com continental breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation. Flights & airport transfers are not included.

Is there complimentary accommodation for the Womens Business Masterclass (7-10 July)?

Yes, if you have met the event criteria and registered for the WBM on 7-10 July, you are eligible for three nights complimentary accommodation.

Is there parking?

Free on-site parking is available and is accessible off King Arthur Terrace, next to the clay courts at the Queensland Tennis Centre. Please note that any vehicle is left at the owners risk.
