Perth Folk and Roots Club is back in central Perth with the Tatts Folk and Roots series at the Perth Bowling and Recreation Club on Thursday 12th June 2025 supported by Perth Bowling and Recreation Club. Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of music’s contribution to mental wellbeing. The performances are from 6pm to 9pm at Perth Bowling and Recreation Club, 2 Plain Street, Perth. For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has No Mountain Band and Nick Hunter. No Mountain Band are a bluegrass/folk group with a heart steeped in swamp, punk and gospel. Between them, they have played for bands such as The Kill Devil Hills, Justin Walshe Folk Machine, The Living Wrecks and Maurice Flavel’s Intensive Care and have graced the stages of Byron Bay Blues and Glastonbury. Nick Hunter was born in Northampton in the UK and he has been performing for 40 years playing music from his roots in rock, blues and folk. Nicks festival work has included performing at Fairbridge and Nannup folk festivals.
