About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Take a Moment in June offers a creative pause in the middle of your busy week on the last Wednesday of June. This program will run at the end of each month on Wednesdays at lunchtime. This well-being program invites you to slow down, recharge, and reconnect—whether through art, nature, or quiet reflection. Experience a blend of guided tours and hands-on creative sessions that are designed to spark inspiration and nurture mindfulness.

Take a break. Explore your creativity. Recharge your mind.

25 June Creative Activities (Drop-in Session from 12 – 2pm) activities include Art Gardening inspired by Hiromi Tango and a Botanic Drawing Exercise. Bookings are recommended but not essential.

Art Gardening inspired by Hiromi Tango – A restorative experience exploring nature and art. This project highlights art’s therapeutic power, promoting mindfulness through hands-on techniques such as wrapping, binding, and knotting. Participants can use the provided materials to create their own Hiromi Tango inspired seedlings known as Art Gardening. Workshop facilitators will be available to guide participants.

Botanical Drawing Exercise – A simple self-guided meditative sketching activity inspired by teamLab’s Flowers and People − A Whole Year per Hour . Participants are welcome to drop in, follow the instructions, and explore your creativity in your own unique way. No previous drawing experience or skills required.
