Sunday Singles is Australia’s Funniest Singles Event – a live comedy show meets dating game show that’ll have you laughing about the single life, not crying over it.

Proudly hosted at The Encore Rockingham, this 18+ (all ages) event is all about big laughs, bold moments, and good vibes.

Here’s how it works:

We kick off with stand-up comedy from your two hosts to warm up the room. Then the real fun begins.

The show features:

✅ Have You Met My Mate – Hand over the reins to your mate and let thempick your date while you’re blindfolded. What could go wrong?
✅ Ballot Boxes – Drop your icks, worst dates, or best pickup lines into the box. We read out the wildest ones, and the crowd picks the winner.
✅ Blind Date – This time it’s just you, a blindfold, and three strangers trying to win you over through a series of hilarious questions.

Is this similar to speed dating?

Our events are way better than traditional speed dating. Sure, you’ll still meet new people, but instead of a heap of forced and rushed conversations, we use comedy to break the ice and make connections feel natural through humour. It’s all about having a laugh and having fun meeting new people.

Is there an age bracket?

It's an all ages (18+) But the average age is between 25-50 years - Just remember, even if you don't meet someone you'll still get to see a fantastic show.

Do you have to be single?

Our events are aimed at singles, but everyone is welcome to come along and watch the show. If you’re off the market, bring a single friend and join in the fun by participating in our “Have You Met My Mate” segment, where you can be their wingman on stage!

How can I get involved on stage?

We love the enthusiasm—you won’t regret it! Get to the venue when doors open (about 30 minutes early) and let the staff know you want to volunteer. They’ll connect you with the event manager or comedians to put your name down.

Can I go to this on my own?

100%. Loads of people come solo, and some people say it’s actually the best ways to enjoy it. No distractions, just you, the show, and plenty of opportunities to meet people on your terms.

Have you had any success stories?

Plenty—this show really works! We truly believe that humour is the key to relationships. Our events attract great people, and from that, we’ve seen epic friendships, relationships, engagements, and even a wedding.

Is it allocated seating?

No, seating is first come, first served. If you’re coming with a group, make sure to get to the show at least 30 minutes early to have the best chance of sitting together.

Is there an age bracket?

No age bracket.All adults are welcome! While most of our attendees are between 25-50 years old, our event is open to everyone 18 and over. We’ve tried events with specific age brackets, but it’s just not as entertaining. The younger singles can learn a few things from the older ones, and vice versa!

Who is this event for?

Our events are for singles across Australia who want to meet great people in a fun, laid-back atmosphere. Whether you’re done with swiping on apps or just want to experience something a little different, our comedy dating shows are exactly what you need.
