We are excited to present a valuable opportunity for your team to enhance their knowledge in palliative care and end-of-life care through the Sundale Palliative Care Conference 2025.

We are organizing a comprehensive, full-day face-to-face education session led by the Research Centre for Palliative Care, Death and Dying (RePaDD), the Specialist Palliative Care (SPACE) team, and the Sunshine Coast Health & Voluntary Assisted Dying Team.

This course will cover a variety of important topics in palliative and end-of-life care. It is designed to deepen understanding in this crucial field and meet the requirements of the New Strengthened Aged Care Standard: Standard 5: Clinical Care. The conference will include a 6-hour education session with experts in this specialty and offer opportunities to network with other health professionals, both from within and outside our organization.

• Deepen understanding of palliative and end-of-life care

• Understand the practical ways funeral directors can collaborate with palliative teams to initiate sensitive conversations about death.
