Rose’s Magic of Science workshops are hands-on, engaging, and interactive, designed to spark curiosity and confidence in kids while making science fun. This session includes exciting experiments that look like magic but are based on real scientific principles, helping kids learn through play.

This Winter Wonderland themed workshop will consist of:

  • Making instant snow
  • Creating our own bubble solution
  • Build your own snow ball launcher
  • Explore the magic of static electricity

PLEASE NOTE:

Only Cumberland City Council residents are eligible for this program.

One ticket per child, accompanying parent/ caregivers do not require a ticket.

If you can no longer attend the program please advise to cancel your ticket so another child can attend.

Parents are required to stay on site with their child/ren for the entire duration of the program.

Do you live outside the Cumberland Council area? Our workshops are heavily subsidised or provided free to residents with costs covered by our ratepayers. Cumberland Council residents will get priority over non-residents when booking. , instead please phone us and you will be put on a waitlist. You will be notified before the workshop if there is available space. There may be an additional fee for non-residents. To book please call 8757 9691.

Some workshops may be postponed due to low numbers, or other circumstances outside of our control. If this happens you will receive an email notification. A reminder/confirmation email is sent 48hours prior to the event to confirm the workshop is going ahead.

Unable to attend or want to cancel your ticket? Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend an event so places can be offered to others on a waiting list. You can also cancel your ticked online through eventbrite. Frequent non-attendance at events may result in events being cancelled and individual bookings being refused or given lower priority booking status.
