About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours
  • Free venue parking

This is your opportunity to learn Sashiko—a simple, mindful, and visible Japanese running stitch—or to bring your own craft projects, such as cross-stitch, quilting, crocheting, or embroidery.

We're keen on creating a welcoming community of women who are inspired to connect with likeminded individuals, and to express their creativity.

The sessions will be facilitated by Margret Mitchell and Jude Newman. They will provide guidance to attendees who wish to explore Sashiko, as well as offering beginner Sashiko kits for purchase for those interested in learning the technique.

Self-service tea and coffee station is included, with a selection of refreshments available.

Sessions are 3 hours duration at the Kulungah Myah Community Centre in the heart of Kardinya.
