Experience an unforgettable evening!
Join Thadam for an exciting and thought-provoking event. Through dance, theatre performances, debate, and storytelling, we’ll explore diverse perspectives on mental health in our community.

This free event will include dinner and provide an opportunity to engage, reflect, and be a part of a much-needed conversation about mental health.

What's in store:

  • Dance and theatre performances that bring mental health issues to life in creative and impactful ways.
  • Thadam proudly presents a series of children's books in both Tamil and English. The books are tool's for both children and parents-to help find common words, build mutual understanding, and face the issue around mental health together. Thadam is excited to have Shankari Chandran, a renowned human rights lawyer and 2023 Miles Franklin Award winner, who will help Thadam launch its new book series aimed at helping families understand better mental health.
  • Hear from Local and State MPs who are supporting Thadam and advocating for mental health awareness through a cultural lens
  • Take part in community discussions and debate about the things we know and the things we still struggle to understand around mental health.

This evening is not just an event—it’s an opportunity to be a part of the change we wish to see. Join us as we come together to raise awareness, spark dialogue, and create a more informed and supportive environment for mental health in our community.
