Local Anaesthesia Update and Upskill Workshop
Refining and Revising your Local Anaesthesia Techniques
It is well documented that dental patients keep coming back to practitioners that 'don't hurt' and give 'painless injections'. This area of clinical practice is the biggest source of anxiety for our patients - and can become stressful for operators if they are not confident and competent in their LA techniques and knowledge.
This 3-hour interactive workshop has been designed for participants to:
· Review the neurobiology that underpins local anaesthesia
· Revisit the key clinical landmarks to use in administering effective LA
· Identify and discuss contemporary LA agents and techniques
· Give hands on practice for optimising local anaesthetic administration
· Reflect on application to their practice by analysing authentic clinical scenarios.
TelScope Device will also be demonstrated at these workshops! Learn how to use and bring your remote community together with telehealth!
