🫖 Chai - As the doors open, a gentle buzz of anticipation fills the air. Guests are welcomed with warm smiles at check-in, setting the tone for a relaxed and inviting evening. The aroma of freshly brewed chai drifts through the space, drawing people together towards an opening circle. Cups in hand, conversations flow easily, light-hearted and thoughtful. It’s time to unwind, connect and ease into the vibe of the night where every sip and every smile adds to the sense of shared community and warmth.
🎶 Ecstatic Dance - Mantra Beats is aimed at presenting meditational sounds such as 'Om' and spiritual mantras such as 'Ganeshaya Mantra', 'Gayatri Mantra', 'Hare Krishna Mahamantra', 'Mahamrityunjaya Mantra' etc. with modern dance music. These mantras have powerful vibrations and sound healing properties that many have experienced globally. Combined with Progressive House, which is best defined as journey music, we are in for a special evening. Popular House, EDM, Trance and Techno Music Producers and DJs around the world, such as Stan Kolev, Matan Caspi, Argy, Shanti People, Hilight Tribe and more, have incorporated these mantras in their music production and created heaps of amazing tracks; some of them and similar tunes will be played at 'Mantra Beats'. 🕉️ The event is not about beats pushing movement, instead it is an opportunity and an invitation to listen to the powerful and healing mantras. The tracks that Energee will be playing invite a call-and-response style participation. You are welcome to hum or chant the mantras as per your comfort level while busting some dance moves on the beautiful floor of Raw Power Yoga, voted Brisbane's best Yoga Studio.
About the Artists
Mantra Beats founder Uri, artist name 'Energee' (@soundofenergee) is a DJ and Electronic Dance Music Producer who has been DJing for more than a decade in a variety of genres and have performed all over Australia and in many cities in India. Energee produces a variety of Prog and Techno tunes that you can find on Spotify/Apple Music like Mantr XV, Slow Down, Kaallii, Jodhana and more. Born and grew up in India, he learnt the basics of Sanskrit in high school and very connected to the rich culture of the spiritual land. He migrated to Australia almost two decades ago, Meanjin is home and very grateful to live on this land of opportunities.
Melodious Hanuman Chalisa Kirtan by Kate Fallick. Kate is a dedicated yoga teacher and passionate kirtan singer known for her heart-centered teaching and soulful voice. With a deep-rooted love for holistic well-being, she blends traditional yoga practices with the devotional power of music. Through her classes and kirtan gatherings, she creates sacred spaces for inner peace, connection and spiritual awakening. Her journey is guided by a commitment to healing, community and living a life of presence and purpose.

- Access to Raw Power Yoga studio is via stairs only, the studio is located on Level 1
- Please respect everyone's individual space and the group space we create together
- Mobile DJ setup speakers, party lights (lasers and strobes) used during the dancing journey
- Dance to your comfort, there are no specific moves/steps
- The organizers will be taking photos and short video clips during the event to help promote future gatherings
