An Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation 4-week course. Each class is one hour, once per week. This course is practical, non-religious and designed for beginners. The course includes
- 4 classes with an experienced mindfulness trainer (Every Wednesday from 11th June - 2nd July)

COURSE OUTLINE
Week 1: What is Mindfulness and what are the benefits?
- What mindfulness is
- The benefits of mindfulness and meditation
- Guided body scan mindfulness meditation.
Week 2: Mindfulness and the thinking mind
- Why thinking can be problematical
- Practical ways to work with difficult thoughts
- Self-judgement and how to intervene
- Guided mindfulness meditation — counting the breath.
Week 3: Mindfulness and emotions
- How emotions provide information
- How to ‘apply the brakes’ when feeling emotions
- Non-judgement and acceptance
- Guided mindfulness meditation on feelings or creative visualisation.
Week 4: Radical Acceptance
- Allowing everything to be as it is
- Recognising your inherent OKness
- Developing wisdom and insight
- Authentic self-compassion
- Open awareness guided mindfulness meditation

YOUR FACILITATOR IS JADE LEE
Jade Lee brings a unique blend of professional expertise and personal experience to her mindfulness teachings. A certified mindfulness educator, yoga teacher, and best-selling author of What My Sherpa Taught Me About Teams: A Guide to Engagement at Work, Jade’s journey into mindfulness began as a way to navigate the high-stress demands of her Human Resources career.
Having faced workplace bullying and taken seven months off to recover her mental health, Jade understands firsthand the struggles of anxiety, burnout, and the challenge of prioritizing well-being in a busy world. Her resilience journey inspired her to dive deeper into holistic practices, becoming qualified in mental health first aid, breathwork, yoga, and meditation.
Jade's teachings are rooted in compassion, neuroscience, and practical application. Whether you're seeking to reduce stress, improve focus, or embrace a more mindful life, Jade's expertise in somatic regulation, positive psychology, and stress management offers an accessible and transformative pathway.
When she's not teaching, Jade finds solace in the outdoors and draws inspiration from her own story of meeting her husband while trekking to Everest Base Camp. Her passion for helping others discover their inner resilience makes her a relatable and inspiring mindfulness mentor.
