Feminine Fragility features lead artists Kamila Waleszkiewicz and Iwona Van Niekerk, along with guest artists from the Art Conversations WA collective: Andy Druyan, Anita Grewal, Graham Hay, Kelly Ha, Eimear Flynn, Ivana Girard, Jane Marron, and Jana Vodesil-Baruffi.
We are honoured to present a live poetry reading by actress, filmmaker, and poet Isabella Jacqueline, from her collection Shattered, and to have Monika Lukowska as our guest speaker to officially open the exhibition.
The exhibition explores themes of memory, loss, empowerment, and the female body through 50 sheer fabric dress imprints, experimental video, and deeply personal works.
