Welcome to the Learning Session of Falun Dafa at Queen Victoria Gardens
In an outdoor class, you will receive a brief introduction to the practice, a demonstration of the five Falun Gong exercises, and focused instruction on 1 to 3 exercises each lesson. Sunscreen.

Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a spiritual practice that millions around the world have made a part of their lives. Rooted in Buddhist tradition, it consists of two main components: self-improvement through the study of teachings, and gentle exercises and meditation.
Number One of the Five Sets of Exercises ⟰
Buddha Stretching a Thousand Arms 佛展千手法
Using gentle stretching movements, this exercise opens all energy channels in the body.
Number Two of the Five Sets of Exercises ⟰
Falun Standing Stance 法輪樁法
Consisting of four static postures that are held for several minutes each, this exercise enhances one’s energy level and awakens wisdom.
Number Three of the Five Sets of Exercises ⟰
Penetrating the Cosmic Extremes 貫通兩極法
With gentle hand-gliding movements, this exercise purifies the body using energy from the universe.
Number Four of the Five Sets of Exercises ⟰
Falun Cosmic Orbit 法輪周天法
By gently tracing the hands over the entire body, front and back, this exercise rectifies all abnormal conditions in the body and circulates energy widely.

A meditation that reopens both the body and mind through entering deep tranquility, thereby strengthening one’s divine powers and energy potency.

Introduction to Falun Dafa
The session will commence with an introduction to Falun Dafa, highlighting its core principles and the many benefits it offers. Following this introduction, volunteers will demonstrate the five sets of exercises, providing a visual understanding of each movement.

Hands-On Teaching
After the demonstration, the focus will shift to teaching 1-3 sets of exercises at beginning followed by another 1-2 times of learning. Volunteers will guide learners step-by-step, ensuring that each participant receives the support and instruction they need to practice effectively. This hands-on approach ensures that learners feel comfortable as they engage with the practice.

Frequently asked questions
At the core of Falun Gong are the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance (or in Chinese, Zhen 真, Shan 善, and Ren 忍). Falun Gong teaches that these are the most fundamental qualities of the universe. Practitioners strive to adopt these qualities in their daily life through meditation
“Falun Dafa” and “Falun Gong” refer to the same practice. “Falun Dafa” is the formal name, whereas “Falun Gong” is a more colloquial term made popular in China. In English, “Falun Dafa” translates to “Law Wheel of The Great Law.”
Exercise No.1: Buddha Stretching a Thousand Arms; Exercise No.2: Falun Standing Stance; Exercise No.3: Penetrating the Cosmic Extremes; Exercise No.4 : Falun Cosmic Orbit; Exercise No.5:Strengthening Divine Powers.
There are no specific clothing requirements for participants. Comfortable, loose-fitting pants and tops, along with well-fitting shoes, are recommended.
Our teaching volunteers will provide meditation mats for learners. Participants are also welcome to bring their own mats.
Learning Falun Dafa improves physical health, boosts immunity, and aids faster recovery. It promotes mental well-being by reducing stress and anxiety while fostering emotional balance. Practicing its core principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" enhances personal growth and resilience.
Falun Gong was introduced by Mr. Li Hongzhi from Changchun, China, now residing in the U.S. He is a five-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee and was nominated for the European Parliament’s Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. He also received Freedom House’s International Religious Freedom Award.
Falun Gong is open to all and practiced worldwide by millions from diverse backgrounds. Though it began in China, it is now taught by volunteers in over 130 countries. Falun Gong books, translated into 40 languages, are available free online, making it accessible to people from all walks of life.
In early 1999, Chinese officials estimated 70–100 million people were practicing Falun Gong, making it the fastest-growing spiritual practice worldwide. Today, practitioners are found in over 130 countries, but it's hard to provide exact numbers since Falun Gong has no formal membership concept.
