Course Overview

To begin our day, we will have an icebreaking session and set the workshop agenda, and the participants will also present their goals.

Topics covered in this course

Definitions : In this session the roam expert will convey to them the concepts around feedback, to name it, call it, and understand its many benefits in the different context of relationships. Through these skills each, if implemented, will come to know and understand some of their own growth dynamics.

Speaking Clearly : Participants will practise valuable skills for providing descriptive feedback and learn how to remain neutral while providing criticism, thereby leading to the outcome.

Communication Strategies : This section helps participants develop feedback communication tools, address ways of questioning that help the recipient drill down into issues and approaches to using verbal cues for greater success.

Characteristics of Effective Feedback : Attendees will kick off their session by embarking on a journey of feedback discovery . During this session, participants will learn about the six components which make up feedback as well as the framework to follow for formal and informal conversations. As well as receiving training, the learners will practise their strategies of feedback by working through case studies, and can follow this up to explore examples in the real world.

Receiving Feedback with Grace : Growing into a professional means learning how to receive positive and negative feedback graciously. This session will empower participants with the knowledge of giving and receiving feedback with ease!

Dipping Your Toes In : In this session, participants will polish their communications skills through applied feedback discussion.

Wrapping Up the Workshop : At the end of this learning session, participants can discuss their questions about their personal Rite of Passage and what steps they are willing to take on the Path.
