Lit by Nanlite is an exclusive opportunity designed for photographers who want to explore bold, cinematic lighting and build a striking portfolio. With access to Nanlite’s powerful RGB lighting systems, you’ll rotate through four highly stylised studio sets, working with professional models and guided by lighting creatives. You will photograph our two models then have a break where we will change costume and then have an opportunity to photograph them again. In total you will get 4 different looks!

Joanne Sparkle is the founder and creative force behind Venus & Rose Photography, a Melbourne studio celebrated for its cinematic lighting and emotionally rich portraiture. Her work explores themes of identity, power, and transformation—inviting subjects to embody alter egos and reclaim their narrative. With a background in psychology and storytelling, Joanne brings a deeply intuitive and empowering energy to every shoot. Her workshops are immersive, mood-driven, and designed to help photographers create with intention and soul.
Ben Eriksson is an accomplished Melbourne-based photographer with over eight years of experience specialising in long-exposure, night, and landscape photography. A seasoned workshop leader and licensed Parks Victoria Tour Operator, Ben has guided hundreds of photographers through creative and technical mastery. He is a proud ambassador for brands like Samyang Optics, Benro Tripods, Tenba Camera Bags, Athabasca Filters, and Nanlite Australia. Known for his hands-on teaching style and generous spirit, Ben brings a wealth of real-world expertise and lighting knowledge to every workshop.
