The audience plays an active role, voting for their favourite team after each round, making every performance unpredictable and interactive. This show celebrates the joy of improv and the richness of diverse cultures, offering a fun and engaging experience for everyone. In 2025, the Brisbane Improv Festival will form part of a wider program of entertainment - the inaugural Big Fork Comedy Festival - a week-long celebration of comedy marking 10 years of Big Fork Theatre. Yes - it’s also a birthday party, complete with a special gala event. Running from July 18–26, this expanded festival brings together improv, sketch, and stand-up performances from Brisbane, interstate, and international talent.
