Some of the best connections happen while traveling over shared meals, in bustling bars, and at long tables with strangers who become friends. This year, Club Sup is bringing that spirit home with a four-part supper series across Sydney and Melbourne, inspired by Intrepid Travel’s most loved destinations.

We’re back for round two of our Club Sup x Intrepid Travel series and this time, on June 24th, we head to Red Lantern in Darlinghurst, one of Sydney’s most iconic Vietnamese restaurants led by chef Luke Nguyen. Inspired by the kind of connection that only travel (and a shared meal) can bring, this series is all about gathering around the table with strangers who might just become friends.

Can I come alone?

Yes, you can come alone. At Club Sup we ensure that you are always looked after and that the conversation flows with our guests. Most people come alone most of the time and have the most rewarding experience.

Can men come?

Yes, of course. Club Sup is open to everyone and anyone who is looking to make authentic connections.

Is there a price if I am not drinking?

If you are not drinking please notify us in the dietary requirement section on check-out, we will provide you with alternative beverages. Most of the cost comes from the food & staffing, with a very small portion coming from the wine, it is vital that the venue and staff are paid fairly.

Can you cater to dietaries?

Yes, we can cater to all dietaries as long as you notify us in the box upon checkout.

What if I am nervous?

Great! Everyone is so it becomes a very unifying experience. Our guests are constantly accommodating and considerate of each others feelings. We always have a helpful host on standby watching to make sure you are ok. If you are feeling nervous feel free to flag and we will help!

Born out of the 2020 lockdowns, Club Sup began in March 2021 with 12 strangers sharing a meal. What started as intimate dinners has since grown into a thriving community, with over 100 events across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, bringing together more than 1,000 people. Today, our gatherings go beyond supper, offering unique experiences like Book Swap, Lunch Club, and 40+ Lunch Club.

We've partnered with brands like Ganni, The Ordinary, and The Shameless Book Club to create experiences rooted in curiosity, warmth, and a shared love for food—the ultimate unifier. Each event is designed as a much-needed pause from the fast pace of modern life, a chance to engage in meaningful conversation, step outside comfort zones, and forge lasting connections.

At Club Sup, phones are put aside in favor of real conversations, nervous introductions turn into laughter, and strangers leave as friends. The magic starts at the table, but the connections extend far beyond—into impromptu pub meetups, Sunday night dinners, and Friday night drinks.
