Queenie is an extraordinary entertainer, captivating audiences with her profound ability to evoke deep emotions while bringing laughter, empathy, and awareness. Her versatility sets her apart, seamlessly transitioning between various genres such as musical theatre, cabaret, plays, film, television, and comedy.


Throughout her illustrious career, Queenie has achieved notable accomplishments, including roles on television shows like Upright II and The Newsreader, critically acclaimed performances in plays such as Women of Troy and Abigail’s Party, with her film credits including Scooby Doo and Girl Clock. In musical theatre, she’s garnered awards for performances in shows like Next to Normal and Into the Woods, and her distinguished cabaret career has seen her tour the world in shows such as Smoke & Mirrors and BLUE: The Songs of Joni Mitchell.


As the driving force behind Amazon Woman Enterprises, Queenie has created award-winning theatre shows, released 4 albums, and created a cult-following for her comedy alter-ego, Jan van de Stool. Beyond her performance work, in 2015 Queenie founded The Australian Musical Theatre Academy (AMTA), which brings together top-tier industry professionals and gifted students.


With a staggering 21 theatre award nominations and 8 wins, Queenie van de Zandt continues to receive recognition for her immense talent. JAMES CUTLER

James has worked extensively throughout Australia and beyond as a director, performer, theatre-maker and educator.


Having a Masters in Directing, James has directed musicals, opera, plays and immersive theatre. He worked as assistant to director Lonny Price on the English National Opera's production of Carousel. Other directorial credits include The Last Five Years, Parade, Sweeney Todd (Fed Uni), Gilligan's Island, The Australian premiere of In the Heights and Titanic (both with Stage Art) Side Show, Floyd Collins and Once on This Island (Octave).


As a performer, James most notably performed in the Australasian tour of School of Rock the Musical, (ensemble, U/S Dewey Finn). He toured the world as Lead Soloist with Aida Cruises and Australia/New Zealand with 'California Dreaming' (JTM). Other performance credits include Birdboot in The Real Inspector Hound and Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest (Artefact Theatre), and Leo Frank in the Australian Premiere of Parade.


James is passionate about musical theatre, immersive theatre, and creating fresh encounters with familiar works. As a board game enthusiast, he is excited about the intersection between theatre and games and giving the audience an opportunity to participate in the live theatre experience!

From Tuesday to Friday, our mezzanine level known as "Le Salon", is transformed into a stylish intimate cabaret featuring la creme de la creme of Australia and International artists.

Guests can watch the show while enjoying a three courses classic French menu.
