DANIEL BELLE:
Daniel toured Australia and Asia in the cast of Les Misérables, covering the lead role of Jean Valjean, and most recently performed in Side Show in the role of Terry.
In 2009, Daniel performed in Jerry Springer the Opera at the Sydney Opera House covering the role of Dwight/God. In 2013, he joined the internationally acclaimed vocal group The Ten Tenors and performed in theatres around Australia, America, and Europe as part of The Ten Tenors’ Double Platinum tour. Daniel is also in demand as a performer for special events including: Australian Rugby Union’s Test Series and Bledisloe Cup matches, the arrival of Pope Benedict at Barangaroo in 2008, International One-Day Cricket finals, A League Football finals and the Australian Swimming Championships.
Daniel has also been a finalist for both The Rob Guest Endowment and The Joan Sutherland Scholarship
ROB McDOUGGALL
is a skilled and versatile singer, musician, actor and conductor who has performed throughout Australia, Europe and America.
He initially studied Music at the Sydney Conservatorium, graduating with a Bachelor of Music. He then received the American Society of Composers, Authors and Producers Scholarship enabling him to study Music Theatre in New York. During his time there, he performed at Carnegie Hall, the famous Birdland Cabaret Club and was invited to perform for Steven Schwartz.
In 2014, Rob was cast in the Australian production of Les Misérables, understudying the role of Javert and eventually taking over the role of The Bishop. He then performed the role of The Proprietor in Assassins at the Hayes Theatre and also at the Sydney Opera House.
Rob is well-known in Newcastle, having worked for 10 years with popular Newcastle big band group Ultra Swing Lounge.
Rob returned to the role of Javert in Les Misérables at Riverside Theatre, Parramatta. He was then cast as Neville Craven opposite Anthony Warlow in The Secret Garden, which unfortunately did not proceed due to COVID-19.
Rob played Henry Stride in the Hayes Theatre Co production of Jekyll & Hyde. More recently, Rob reprised the role of Javert in Les Misérables for Packemin productions.
CATHERINE ALCORN
As an artist, Catherine has produced and performed in national and international tours of her own stage shows The Divine Miss Bette, Go Your Own Way: The Story of Christine McVie, Cathartic and 30 Something and is a regular fixture in Festival programs including Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Sydney Festival, Sydney Mardi Gras and as Ambassador for Noosa Long Weekend and Ballarat Cabaret Festival in 2014/15. During her appointment as Ambassador, both festivals broke attendance and box office records.
As a host, Catherine Em Cees for renowned international brands including the TEDx Sydney live-streamed after party in 2021 and 2022 at the Sydney Opera House. She is the first artist to be invited back across consecutive years.
In 2018 Catherine made her triumphant USA and Sydney Opera House debut in her most famous role as The Divine Miss Bette, winning her the Best Cabaret Production in the 2018 Broadway World Awards. The show went on to perform two sold out seasons at Darlinghurst Theatre Company in 2023. The show is the second highest selling production of the 2024 Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
