About this event
Jump into the school holidays with our fun froggy adventure! Your little nature explorer will learn all about the fascinating world of frogs. From there quirky calls to there incredible lifecycle we will uncover why frogs are so important for our wetlands. Then its time to grab your raincoats and gumboots for a mini wetland expedition! We will search for our froggy friends in there natural habitat and learn what makes the perfect home for them to thrive and stay safe.

Please note that this event is suitable for families with kids aged 4 to 7. Please see below for information regarding expectations.
This is not a 'drop and leave' event. All people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible parent/carer. Parents/carers are responsible for the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Requirements
Please bring weather appropriate clothing for a walk in Piney Lakes Reserve and a drink bottle.
Type of event and expectations
Primary level classroom rules apply - Children should be capable of following instructions of program facilitator and must be able to sit calmly for the duration of the presentation. Parents and caregivers are responsible for the health and safety of their children at all times and should be available to support children if required. Quiet spaces will be available for this event.
Outdoor event - This event features a guided outdoor walk focused on observing live animals in their natural habitat. Participants are expected to follow the program facilitator's instructions and show respect throughout the experience. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Due to the nature of the event, there will be moments where silence is required. As such, this event may not be ideal for children who have difficulty remaining quiet for short periods when asked.

Please consider using public transportation. A bus stop, just a 2-minute walk away, is conveniently located near EcoHub and services multiple routes.
EcoHub is located at 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop in the Piney Lakes Reserve. To reach us, if heading westbound, take the first left after Murdoch Drive on Leach Highway. If coming from the Fremantle area, continue on Leach Hwy across Murdoch Drive and use the designated U-turn just after the lights to move to the westbound lanes. Go back through the lights at Murdoch Drive and take the first left. Please park in the signed public carpark.
