It is recommended to book this program if you are 26-32 weeks pregnant.

These evening classes have 4 sessions held on every Wednesday for 4 consecutive weeks.

By registering on this page you are registering for you and your support person to attend all 5 sessions.

The dates for the classes:

• Week 1: Tuesday the 17th of June from 6pm to 8pm
• Week 2: Tuesday the 24th of June from 6pm to 8pm
• Week 3: Tuesday the `1st of July from 6pm to 8pm
• Week 4: Tuesday the 8th of July from 6pm to 8pm

Each class runs for 2 hours, and includes a 10 minute break.

First time expectant parents benefit enormously from these classes as there is plenty of time to interact and discuss a range of topics from labour and birth to breastfeeding and parenting.

Topics include but not limited to:

• Pregnancy – normal changes and adaptations
• Labour and birth – signs and management
• Pain relief options - both natural and medical
• Going overdue
• What to bring to hospital
• Parenting skills and caring for baby
• Baby safety
• Exercise and physiotherapy
• Breastfeeding
• Becoming parents
• Tour of the birthing unit and maternity ward (dependant on facility availability for viewing)

Do I bring my partner along to all the classes with me?

Partners are encouraged to attend. If your partner cant make it then you can bring along a support person.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

You may like to bring a snack. Tea and coffee are provided.

Is my registration ticket transferable?

No

Yes, you can return to the booking page to do so.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. You can print it out or save on the Eventbrite app if you wish.

What is the refund policy?

A full refund may be given only in the following circumstances:

• Premature birth
• Hospital admission

An administration fee of $12.87 will be incurred on cancellation requests.
