You're invited to the CitySide Stingers Social Night! Our social nights are a great way to have some food and bevs, play some volleyball, and meet new people with zero commitment. It’s open to all skill levels, a fun way to spend your Friday night and there’s even some prizes up for grabs!

For this event, the theme is emo night - so grab your eyeliner, dust off your band merch, and relive those emo glory days. If you're unsure what to wear, you can't go wrong with some black and red.

Hope to see you there!

Early bird discounts apply so get in quick! Valid until May 9th 2025.

Frequently asked questions

How does it work?

At the start of the event, we add everyone’s names in the system (this can be your real name or a nickname). Then players are randomly assigned to teams of six, shuffling after each game. Games go for 10 minutes each and there will be a break halfway through the night for food.

Is it beginner friendly?

Yes! It is open to all skill levels, whether you’re completely new to the game or a volleyball veteran.

Is it friendly to solo players?

Yes! We have a very friendly and welcoming community. If you come by yourself, we guarantee you’ll end the night with new friends.

What do I wear?

Activewear is a good choice but you can wear whatever you are comfortable running around in. Every social night also has a theme and we encourage everyone to dress up.

Do I need to commit to playing for a season?

Not at all. Our social nights are a great way to test out the waters with no commitment. You can get a feel for the game, meet people in our community and have a fun night.

I've never played rebound beach volleyball. What are the rules?

The main difference to indoor is the ability to play off the nets and the need for a minimum of two touches from the receiving team on the serve. We will be around on the night to bring you up to speed, otherwise, you can read the full list of rules here: https://www.citysidesports.com/rules
