About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join an interactive and welcoming morning for people living with autism. Meet Chris as he shares his journey towards acceptance and understanding after being diagnosed with autism in his early 40s. At the time of diagnosis, Chris created SAGE (Social Autism Group Events) as a way to deal with his cravings for connection and understanding from his peers.

Fast forward five years, and SAGE has flourished with 1,200 members and over 800 events. After his diagnosis and the formation of SAGE, he has gained a sense of community and has found an opportunity to share his lived experience with others.
