MEET YOUR FACILITATOR - MICHELLE RYAN
Hi, I’m Michelle! Like you, I’ve been on a life journey that has brought me to this place. Over the years, I’ve learned that true inner peace comes from reconnecting with ourselves—slowing down, being present, and embracing life as it unfolds.
I truly believe that when we become more present in our own lives, we naturally create a positive ripple effect on the world around us.
My own journey of self-discovery started back in the ‘90s, fueled by curiosity and a deep need to manage anxiety after recovering from an eating disorder. Back then, my go-to tools were books, journaling, walking and the occasional yoga class.
Fast forward to today and mindfulness and meditation have become central to my life. Over the past seven years, I’ve immersed myself in retreats and practices that have helped me navigate the stresses of running a family and a business. I completely understand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed—I lived in a state of panic for years. But through mindfulness, I’ve learned how to step out of autopilot, manage stress and truly experience the moments that matter.
My background includes 25+ years in Human Resource Development and Management, but my heart has always been drawn to creativity and the esoteric. I now meditate most days, not just as a practice, but as a way to stay grounded and present. And I love nothing more than deep conversations—listening to people’s stories has always been my happy place.
As a Certified Mindfulness Teacher/Mentor, I’m here to help you discover personal peace and calm. I also hold qualifications in Business and Finance, along with a Diploma in Sound Healing and Laughter Yoga Leadership.
Through my business, Be Soothed, I help people like you feel better within themselves and navigate life’s stresses with more ease. My goal as a Mindfulness Works Australia facilitator is simple—to guide you toward greater calm, clarity and self-acceptance.
I’d love to share this journey with you. 💙
