The Aboriginal Heritage Office is running Aboriginal Sites Awareness Training for office based staff and outdoor staff (including contractors and volunteers).The courses are important for staff wishing to understand their role in meeting the due diligence requirements for Aboriginal heritage under NSW legislation.

Participants who complete the course will receive an AHO Certificate recognising the successful completion of the particular AHO Sites Awareness course.

Time and Location

- Time: 9:30am – 3.00pm
- Location: Training is at The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability (Mess Hall), 2 Balls Head Rd, Waverton.

The Coal Loader can be reached via Waverton Station. There is car parking on Balls Head Rd and Balls Head Drive. Berry Island is end of Shirley Rd, Wollstonecraft.

- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for short field excursion on bush track. Please bring water, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and any other personal gear.
