Pot Luck Plays has evolved into “7th Floor PLAYground” running in two states! PLAYing at PIP Theatre in Milton Brisbane and returning to Melbourne PLAYing at Theatre Works in St Kilda!

We are thrilled to announce its new residency at the esteemed Theatreworks, bringing its signature blend of spontaneity and theatrical fun to a beloved Melbourne venue one Monday each month.

Step into the welcoming atmosphere of Theatre Works as doors open at 6:30pm. It's the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow theatre enthusiasts, catch up with friends, and perhaps enjoy a drink before the evening's theatrical adventure unfolds. The anticipation builds towards the pivotal moment at 6:45pm – the grand reveal of the play(s) for the night! The title remains a closely guarded secret until this very moment, ensuring a fresh and surprising experience for everyone involved.

Actors looking for a dynamic and engaging way to hone their skills, can book a PLAY reader ticket for $22 and exercise their cold reading skills in the PLAYground. Embrace the challenge of performing a script projected on a screen, freeing you to move around the space and engage your body. With no preparation and no way of getting it “right” or “wrong” It's an "actor's gym" in a supportive and fun environment to stay sharp, explore new characters and works, whilst networking with fellow performers.
